Macmillan Coffee Morning

At some point in our life we will experience the affects of cancer whether its supporting a family member, friend or battling it ourselves. I myself have been one of those family members having to watch someone having to battle with cancer. With the help of Macmillan nurses my grandparents were able to have the support and help they needed.

In the UK over 360,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year and this is progressively increasing. There are 200 different cancers that we are aware of already and not all causes are known.  Cancer not only affects the individual physical but can also have a massive strain on their finances, work, childcare, travel and planning for the future.

To show our support here at Springhill we have run our very own coffee morning offering a variety of cakes and hot drinks. Thank you to all the patients that have shown their support, any donation helps, please show your support.
